If you're using... Workshare Professional/Compare 9, 8 |
If you’re using Workshare Compare 9 and you save a Redline from Compare, by default it will be saved as a PDF. If you’re using an earlier version of Compare, by default it will be saved as a Workshare DeltaFile (.WDF).
You can use the Workshare Configuration Manager to change the default file type to any of the following:
- Rich Text Format (.rtf)
- Microsoft Word (.doc)
- Microsoft Word (.docx)
- Text Only (.txt)
- Portable Document Format (.pdf)
To do change the default file type of saved Redlines:
- Launch the Workshare Configuration Manager.
- From the Integrations category, select General.
- Change the parameter Set default format when saving... select your file format.
- Click Apply.
