Note: Prior to the release of Workshare Detect Server 1.7, the product was known as Risk Analytics.

Workshare Detect Server tracks the emails leaving your firm and builds a picture of what’s normal, acceptable email activity in your firm – and what’s not. Armed with information, action can be taken to protect your business and prevent data loss. By monitoring all emails flowing through your firm, it’s possible to discover where any sharing risks lie, to use the information to investigate issues and to ensure data isn’t sent to the wrong people.

Workshare Detect Server enables compliance admins to monitor outgoing emails, giving them the information they need to analyze data security breaches. It does this by capturing a copy of all emails sent outside the company and storing information about every email and its attachments. Compliance admins can then run reports on the data, so they can analyze the information and implement policy accordingly.

Information about the latest release:

  • Workshare Detect Server 1.8 (released June 2019): This release saw the introduction of the new client audit report.
The installation guide, user guide and release notes are provided below, at the bottom of this article.
