Domain names and ports that should be open

If you're using the Workshare desktop app, mobile apps or my.workshare.com, add these domain names and ports as an exception or whitelist them in your firewall:
  • *.workshare.com
  • *.s3.amazonaws.com
  • Port 443 (HTTPS protocol)
We recommend that you use * to enable everything from s3.amazonaws.com

If you don't want to use * to enable everything from s3.amazonaws.com, you can add our default storage names as an exception/whitelist in your firewall:

https://workshare-platform-us-standard.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-oregon.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-california.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-ireland.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-singapore.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-tokyo.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-sydney.s3.amazonaws.com
https://workshare-platform-sao-paulo.s3.amazonaws.com

However, Workshare supports custom storage and custom domain names, and we're unable to include those names in this list. This means your users won’t be able to access any files that other Workshare customers with custom storage have shared with them. To enable your users to view files that one of these customers has shared, ask that customer to give you their storage details so you can add them to your whitelist.

Note: If you're licensing Workshare Professional, Protect or Compare and you aren't using the desktop app, mobile apps or my.workshare.com, the only exception you need to make is my.workshare.com (for licensing purposes) and port 443.

If you've added the domain names above as an exception or whitelisted them in your firewall and you're still unable to access my.workshare.com or the desktop app, follow these steps: Additional URLs that can be whitelisted if unable to access my.workshare.com and the Workshare desktop app
