Error: There was a problem with the installation

If you're using... Workshare Professional/Protect/Compare 9

 
If you see an error message like this, it means you'll need to install one or more of the prerequisites for Professional, Protect or Compare 9. You can find all four here:

If you've received the exact error message above and -- instead of downloading all the prerequisites -- you'd like to download only Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 x86 (version 11.0.61030.0), you can get it from Microsoft's site:

1. Go to Microsoft's Download Center: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30679
2. Click Download. 

3. When the download is complete, double-click vcredist_x86.exe to run it.
