Disable the Workshare Exchange Extensions within the Microsoft Outlook Email Client

If you're using...
Workshare Professional/Protect
Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2007, 2003

Note: For each of these options, you'll retain the ability to convert documents to PDF.

For Microsoft Outlook 2010:
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select File.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Select Add-Ins.
  5. Under Manage:, select COM Add-ins.
  6. Click Go...
  7. Uncheck Workshare Outlook COM Addin.
  8. Click OK.
For Microsoft Outlook 2007:
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select Trust Center.
  3. Click Add-ins.
  4. Under Manage:, select COM Add-ins.
  5. Click Go...
  6. If it's there, uncheck Workshare Protect Enterprise.
  7. If it's there, uncheck Workshare3 Outlook Extension.
  8. Click OK.
For Microsoft Outlook 2003:
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Click Other.
  5. Select Advanced Options.
  6. Click Add-in Manager...
  7. If it's there, uncheck Workshare Protect Enterprise.
  8. If it's there, uncheck Workshare3 Outlook Extension.
  9. Click OK.

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Click Other.
  5. Select Advanced Options.
  6. Click Add-in Manager...
  7. If it's there, uncheck Workshare Protect Enterprise.
  8. If it's there, uncheck Workshare3 Outlook Extension.
  9. Click OK.
