Renew my license using an authorization code

These instructions only apply to older versions of Workshare (Professional 7 and 8). If you're upgrading to the latest version of Workshare (Workshare 9/Professional 9) follow these instructions: Refresh your Workshare license
 

First, release your expired license:

  1. Open Workshare Compare.
  2. If the document selection screen or any licensing-related prompts appear, click Cancel.
  3. Click the Compare icon.
  4. Click Configuration Manager. A new window will appear.
  5. In the right-hand corner, click Launch Administrator Mode.
  6. Click the Licensing tab.
  7. Select the expired license.
  8. Click Release license.
  9. Click OK.

Next, enter the license authorization code: 

  1. From the Licensing tab, click Get license.
  2. Enter the 12-digit authorization code.
  3. Click OK.
