TLS 1.0 Deactivation Test

Follow these short steps to test if your browser supports TLS 1.1 and above

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Select Network and Internet then Internet Options.
  3. In Internet Options, select the Advanced tab.

  1. Scroll down to the 'Security' section. De-select Use TLS 1.0. Click Apply then OK.

  1. Launch your browser and open a private tab:
 ​​​​​Microsoft Edge
  • Click on User-added image then click New InPrivate window
Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Click on User-added image in the top right corner of the browser.
  • Click Safety > InPrivate Browsing.
  1. In your private browsing window, go to https://my.workshare.com
  • If the Workshare login page is displayed and you're able to sign in - no action required.
  • If there is no login page displayed and/or you cannot log in, you're not currently able to use TLS 1.1 and above. You or your IT network administrator will need to take action to ensure uninterrupted service.
Important notice: after performing the above test, please revert your settings to how they were configured prior to making the changes. This is to avoid any interruption to any of your other applications that may still use the TLS 1.0 protocol.
